Assalamualaikum and hello! :)
Dah lama rasanya tak kongsi recipe, so why not today I share a recipe with all of you? hehe ni rajin sbb smlm ada makan2 kat rumah and I baked a chicken lasagna and a toffee apple cake. :)
Bila google recipe lasagna, the first website yg kluar is Cik Epal Homemade Beef Lasagna . Hehe famous la ni, mesti byk hit! :) I follow her recipe but I tweaked a bit here and there according to my taste and preference. Korang pun bole adjust recipe ikut taste korang, tak salah pun. hihi I will divide the recipe into a few part sbb kena prepare the meat sauce, the white sauce, toppings and of course the lasagna.
Ok jom start!
1. Instant Lasagna (I used San Remo where you don't have to pre-cooked the lasagna. Awesome!)
2. Meat Sauce/ Sos Daging :
1 biji bawang besar (blend)
6 ulas bawang putih (blend)
400g minced chicken (you can use beef or whatever you heart desire)
1 tin besar tomato puree (I used DuChef)
1 tin kecil tomato puree (I used DuChef) - OPTIONAL. Try with 1 tin first, kalau tak cukup can add on the 2nd tin
9 biji cili kering (blend)
oregano (adjust to your taste)
black pepper (adjust to your taste)
garam (adjust to your taste)
brokoli (adjust to your taste nak byk mane, bole tukar letak mushroom ke spinach ke)
3. White Sauce :
1/2 blok (125g) butter (I used Buttercup)
4 tbsp tepung gandum
700ml full cream milk (I used Anchor)
3 keping sharp cheddar cheese (I used Kraft) - guna regular cheddar cheese pun bole, I just used
what I have in hand
garam (adjust to your taste)
4. Toppings :
250g grated mozarella cheese / pizza toppings cheese (I didn't use parmesan cheese because I really
don't like the smell)
How to / Cara-cara :
1. Buat meat sauce dulu :
- Tumis bawang besar and bawang putih sampai naik bau.
- Masukkan minced chicken, masak sampai the chicken dah almost masak.
- Masukkan 2 tin tomato puree and cili kering. Kacau dalam 5 - 8 minutes.
- Masukkan oregano, black pepper and garam. Rasa semua ok ke tak, kalau tak, tambahla ape yg patut.
- Masukkan brokoli.
- Kacau sampai brokoli mcm dah layu sikit pastu tutup api. Set aside
this is the meat sauce
2. Buat white sauce :
- Cairkan butter (api kecik je, sbb butter senang nk burn)
- Masukkan tepung, kacau sampai dah well combined.
- Masukkan susu, kacau dlm 1 minute.
- Masukkan cheddar cheese, keep stirring
- Masukkan garam, adjust rase, tak cukup tambah (start with little, sbb dh ade cheese takut nanti masin sgt. I think I put in around 2 cubit) then tutup api, set aside.
this is the white sauce.
Meat sauce and white sauce. Now dah ready nak layer! :)
- Preheat oven for at least 10 minutes (180 Celcius - depends on your oven)
- Guna baking dish to your preference.
Tips : Bawah sekali letak sikit meat sauce supaya bila potong nanti lasagna tak melekat kat bawah
3. Layering :
- 1st layer : Lasagna
- 2nd layer : Meat sauce
- 3rd layer : White sauce
REPEAT the steps sampai lasagna abis . Dalam San Remo Instant Lasagna ada 16 keping, every layer I guna 3 keping so dapat 5 layers. Layer yang atas sekali guna 4 keping. The last kepingan lasagna tu I patah2kan je so muat dalam baking dish.
1st layer : Lasagna

4. Top it of with mozarella cheese
5. Bake for about 40 - 50 minutes or until golden brown
