This is what I did for my 2nd day of the challenge. Decided to make kiwi smoothies for my family buka puasa. As usual, I use what I already have in the kitchen. You gotta fully utilize what you have, you know? ;)
Kiwifruit is one of the most nutritious fruit that has 20 essentials nutrients such as Vitamin C, fiber, folate, potassium and Vitamin E. Do you know that kiwi has 2 times more vitamin C than oranges? Vitamin C is crucial for our body because it boosts our immune system and repairs our body tissues! Okay enough of the facts, lets go ahead to the smoothie recipe. Introducing....
Sabby's Kiwi Yoghurt Smoothie
Serving Size : 4 pax
Ingredients :
2 Zespri Sun Gold kiwi
1 red apple
2 tbsp of fresh yoghurt (you can use anything kind you want)
1 tbsp of honey (I use honey from Makkah)
2 cups of cold water
How To :
1. Scoop out the kiwi and cut the apple into smaller pieces.
2. Blend all the ingredients till everything is well blended.
3. Pour into 4 glasses and enjoy! :)
P/S : If you feel that the kiwi is too sour for your taste, you can always add more honey, stevia or any kind of sweetener to your preference. :)
Oh and day 3 and 4 will be up in a few hours, I'm compiling everything ASAP! :P
