Hey everyone!
I wanted to share this easy pasta recipe with you guys. I got the recipe from watching Byron Talbott's video and of course I tweaked a little bit here and there. If you want the exact recipe of Byron's recipe, click here. :) This Spaghetti with Lemon Garlic Cream is a creamy but not too creamy type of pasta. I mean I can eat a lot of this. The creamy consistency is just right and the freshness of lemon really makes a difference. This recipe is perfect if you have any chicken leftovers. I uploaded a Baked Chicken Recipe last month, click that recipe if you want an easy and simple baked chicken under 30 minutes. Now lets get cooking!
Ingredients needed :
(SERVES : 2 -3 people)
200g spaghetti
200g spaghetti
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 clove of garlic (sliced thinly)
1 cup (200ml) whipping cream/cooking cream
Shredded cooked chicken (optional)
1/2 lemon (zest and juice)
2 green chili/cili padi (sliced thinly)
Basil leaves
Salt
Pepper
Methods :
1. Cook your pasta following the instruction in the packet. After draining the pasta, drizzle a bit of olive oil to prevent the spaghetti from sticking together.
2. In a pan, pour in the olive oil, garlic and whipping or cooking cream. Stir until it starts bubbling.
3. Stir in shredded chicken and cili padi. Sprinkle basil leaves, lemon zest, salt and pepper then stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Pour in the lemon juice and stir for a little while and taste the cream sauce. Add salt or pepper to adjust the taste.
5. Put in the spaghetti into the pan and mix well. Get it off the stove and start plating.
Enjoy the spaghetti! :)
