[Beauty Review] : Wild Ferns - Manuka Honey Body Wash & Body Lotion

I have been loving natural ingredients products lately because I believe they are more beneficial towards our skin. So when I got the chance to review one of the brands that is available at theSkintopic, of course the pleasure is mine! :) Last year I went to theSkintopic 1st Anniversary Celebration in Pavilion, if you haven't read that, you can click HERE for the post. :)  theSkintopic has 4  brands under their wings which are Wild Ferns, Olive & Tebe, Evolu and  Linden Leaves. Today I am going to review 2 products from Wild Ferns. :)

Lets get to know Wild Ferns a little bit more before jumping into the reviews, shall we? ^_^ Wild Ferns is a natural skincare and bodycare brand from New Zealand that has been in the market for the past 20 years. Owned by Parrs Products, a family business that believes in creating products based on the uniqueness of New Zealand to be presented to the rest of the world. They only use the best and natural ingredients that can be found in New Zealand such as manuka honey, kiwifruit, thermal mud and manuka oil to give the best benefits to their consumers. They do not support animal testing and their packaging is presented in environmentally friendly packaging. Today I am reviewing 2 body care products that consists of manuka honey which is one of the most famous source that can be found in New Zealand. 

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Range contains pure Active Manuka AAH (Antibacterial Antioxidant Honey) 650+ that has high level of antioxidants which neutralise free radicals and at the same time it helps in protecting, maintaining the skin's health and improve the skin's texture. Active Manuka AAH (Antibacterial Antioxidant Honey) 650+ is the only honey that is certified and quality assured to have the superior levels of antioxidants and and antibacterial activities. Everybody knows there are so much benefits you can gain from using or even eating manuka honey in your daily lives.

REVITALISING BODY WASH

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Revitalising Body Wash is a gentle daily body wash that helps in protecting and maintaining the skin's natural moisture level. The first time I poured the body wash onto my hands, I can immediately sensed the sweet smell of honey. The scent is so sweet and it reminds me of one of the candy I used to eat when I was small. It is Paraben free, mineral oil free and it is not tested on animals.

I like the plastic cap where you just need to push one side of the cap and there's a hole in the other side so you can just pour the product out. It makes it so much easier when showering and it is not messy.

The shade is a bit yellowish and orangey, or safe to say that the shade is somewhat similar to honey. The texture is quite thick but runny at the same time.

The body wash lathers well when you mix it with water. What I suggest is to thoroughly wash your body first, then pour the body wash onto your palm and massage it into your skin. The sweet scent will go deep into your skin and it feels so relaxing. After a few minutes, rinse it off and you can feel that your skin is so soft and smooth! Its kinda weird but I feel this cooling effect afterwards! It really does keep my skin moisturized and I do not feel any stickiness after showering. :)

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Moisture Rich Body Lotion is a luxurious lotion that contains Active Manuka Honey and Sweet Almond Oil that functioned to nourish and keep the skin hydrated. This lotion also smells like sweet honey so it is a perfect combination with the Revitalising Body Wash. This lotion does not contain Paraben, mineral oil and it is not tested on animals.

It has an easy to use pump and you can actually control how hard you may press the pump to get certain amount of product. So there will be no wastage. 

The texture of the lotion is thick, but it does not feel heavy on the skin.

It is easy to spread out and as I massaging the lotion onto my skin, I can feel that it is quickly absorbed into my skin.

I do not feel any stickiness or greasiness after applying the lotion. It is fast absorbing and it smells wonderful! I've been using this lotion for quite sometime and it keeps my skin moisturized for the rest of the day. For me, the scent lingers maybe about 4 hours, if I use it on the whole body and also with the usage of the Revitalizing Body Wash. :)
