REVLON COLORBURST MATTE BALM

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm is one of the collections of Revlon ColorBurst Crayon Collection that is infused with Triple Butter Complex such as Shea, Mango and Coconut butter for moisturizing and vibrant lips. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm gives your lips a velvety matte finish and balm-like feel. 

I received 3 shades from Revlon Malaysia (Thank you so much!) Mischievous, Sultry and Shameless.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm is retractable so you don't have to worry about sharpening these lip crayon. 

This is the size of the actual product. It looks like it is almost the same size as your normal lipstick.

235 Mischievous is a coral, orange shade

225 Sultry is a mauve, berry shade

215 is a dark purple shade

All of the shades have light peppermint fragrance which I kinda like. It has the same scent with the Revlon ColorBurst Just Bitten Kissable (you can click here for the review)

Let's do a little test on my lips and see whether it's a thumbs up or a thumbs down!

Of all those three shades, Mischievous is a turn off. Firstly it does not glide smoothly on my lips, it looks patchy and it is so unflattering. Maybe I am not suitable with the shade but I do have other coral/peach/orange shades but they look okay on me. I really think that the formulation is somehow a bit a different with the other two shades I own. This is not my favourite.  

Sultry in the other hand, is such a pretty shade. This mauve and berry lip crayon has converted me into a berry lips lover. I always thought I look horrible in berry lips, but hey, I love it! Sultry glides on my lips oh so smoothly and the colour pay off is amazing. I only need about 2 to 3 layers to get this shade. It is moisturizing and the velvet matte finish makes this lip crayon a winner. I absolutely love this shade! As for the longevity, I would say it stays on pretty well for 2 to 3 hours without drinking or eating. After eating or drinking it definitely wears off but gives a nice stain on my lips. I have no problem in reapplying lip product, it's one of those things that makes me feel girly inside. *weird girl*

Well hello Shameless. You are indeed shameless because you are the most outstanding one. *haha okay I'm kidding* But seriously, this dark purple is freaking gorgeous! It glides on smoothly, great pigmentation, moisturizing and of course the velvet matte finish is awesome. I love this shade but I really feel I need to be extra bold and confident to use this shade because it is an attention magnet. I feel so gothic and mysterious when applying this, well I mean when I use it in my room. haha :P I need to 'WOMAN' up and use it outside. lol

So of all the three shades, which one you like the most?

I would definitely go for Sultry and Shameless. Mischievous does not suit me at all. :D
