BEAUTY | Event : Clinique Malaysia X TBP : Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer SPF 19/PA++

This is a story of the day before I admitted into the hospital for my labour. Yes, I was still going around here and there before the big day because this woman can not sit still! :P Anyway, The Butterfly Project and Clinique were kind enough to invite me to the blogger's introduction of Clinique's latest foundation which is the Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer SPF 19/PA++  Well this event was not just about the introductory of the foundation, but we also got the opportunity to experience a photoshoot, exciting time! :) The photoshoot was held at Metal Bees Production, somewhere in Sunway Damansara. I actually had been to another production house somewhere around the area for a casting so the place is quite familiar.

Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer SPF 19/PA++ is a 2-in-1 liquid foundation that is designed specifically for Asian skins, which also double up as concealer to give the skin the perfect flawless skin. Like seriously, if I can save time skipping my concealer by just using this foundation, why not? Use it as foundation all over the face or just spot apply to any imperfection you wish to diminish! It is a long-wearing foundation that can last up 12 hours and the best part of this foundation is because of the lightweight feel. The foundation has this magic wand applicator that can be used several ways. Use the angled tip to apply dots all over the face, use it sideways to spread out the foundation on the cheeks or use the tip to cover smaller blemishes. 

Titanium Dioxide in the foundation provides broad spectrum UA/UVB protection to prevent dark pigmentation without irritating the skin. The weightless feel of the foundation is the result of the combination of polymers : acrylates/dimethicone copolymer and gellants, such as dextrin palmitate in a volatile form that creates a unique whipped cream-like texture. Where as PEG-7 dimethicone is a film-forming polymer that creates a silky feel that allows long-wearing hours without drying up the skin.

Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer SPF 19/PA++ is Allergy Tested and 100% Fragrance free. So anybody with sensitive skin, this is your calling. There are 6 shades available ; Ivory, Rose Beige, Fresh Beige, Cream Beige, Neutral and True Beige. It is retail at RM132/30ml and can be purchased at all Clinique counters nationwide.

I personally LOVE the foundation because of the lightweight feel. Nobody wants cakey face anymore and this foundation is perfect especially in our hot and humid weather. The fact that the foundation saves time (because it double up as concealer) makes it perfect if I need to get ready in a jiffy. After the makeover, we did a photoshoot and oh boy it was fun! I've done quite a number of photoshoots before but I still get nervous. *hahaha* this momma is too heavy to move around! Being 38 weeks pregnant that time is definitely challenging! :D
