JUST FOR FUN | Spicy Noodle Challenge

Assalamualaikum and hello. :)

I have a fun video for you to watch, it's 'Spicy Noodle Challenge' that has been around YouTube for so long! My husband bought it in Jaya Grocer in Cyberjaya and it is RM23 for a pack of 5. It is quite expensive for instant noodles, but what the heck, I want to try it badly! *hahaha* I eat spicy food, well being a Malay spicy food is a must. But I guess my tolerance towards spicy food has gone done tremendously since I was pregnant last year. I suffered heart burn every time I eat food that is too spicy and that heart burn continues until now. *sad times* :( This noodle tastes so gooood but man, it is spicy! Btw, the noodle is certified HALAL (look at the above photo). So my muslim friends, you can eat this. :)

Anyway I hope you guys enjoy this video as I had fun filming it with my husband, Iwan. *hahaha* I'm the only one talking in the video coz he's so shy! :D I will get him back on my channel for shoooo! :D

I admit, being a new mother has made me a different person. Motherhood made me do things that I don't normally enjoy and made me more concern on how to spend my money. Motherhood sucked me into 'online shopping' and to be honest, I have no regrets! You know why? Online shopping has made my life so much easier because I don't have to go out to get stuff for my home and for my baby! Rakuten Online Shopping is one of the online website that I enjoy surveying simply because of the tagline, "Shopping is Entertainment!"

Rakuten Online Shopping was launched in Malaysia in November 2012 and now it carries over 210,000 products from over 900 merchants. Products sold in the websites caters to all age and gender, from fashion apparel, accessories, beauty, health, electronics, toys and games, furniture and more! It is a one stop centre for me because I can buy all sorts of things for my husband, my baby and for myself. :D "Shopping is Entertainment!", which is Rakuten's global tagline was created because they want consumers to gain benefits and have fun shopping at the same time! Now tell me, who doesn't like to shop in a store that gives better pricing, great deals and the most importantly, a fun and easy shopping experience? Well I do and I'm going to let you guys now how to get better deals when you shop in Rakuten!

Firstly, you need to be a member in order to enjoy all the perks! No worries, memberships are totally free, so what are you waiting for? ;)

When you have already signed up as a member, you can now start shopping and enjoy the perks! ^_^

Rakuten is a safe place for shopping, so don't be worried about scammers and fraud because all of the sellers are verified by Rakuten. ;)

If you are a member of Rakuten, you will get better deals in shopping. When you shop in Rakuten, you will be given points upon your purchase. The program is called Rakuten Super Points where you can get 1 RSP (Rakuten Super Points) equivalent to RM1 of value. There are two types of RSP which are Regular Points and and Limited Points.

Regular Points :

♥ Apply to all purchases

♥ The points do not have expiry date unless you have not been shopping for Rakuten Malaysia for a year.

Limited Points :

♥ Apply to special Super Points Promotion

♥ Expiry date is applicable when the reward is issued

Wait, there's an even better deal that you can get in Rakuten. It is their reward program 5x Rakuten Super Points !

How does this system works? Simply shop and earn 5% rebate in the form of Rakuten Super Points of your purchases! It is valid everyday from 1st January 2016 until 31st January 2016 with no limit on the amount of rebate. Let me take you through an example. I am looking for jewellery storage and I came across this 2011 Mirror Jewellery Cabinet.

The points that you get can be accumulated and you can use it as one of the payment method for your next purchase in Rakuten. Furthermore, Mastercard holders can enjoy additional 5% discount every purchases that is made on Wednesday! And also, Rakuten gives out Coupon during the weekend, so make sure to check out the website every weekend to get more awesome value for your money!

For example, this jewellery cabinet original price is RM799. With the 58% off, the jewellery cabinet is now RM338.14 (inclusive GST). Through this discount, I can save RM460.86. If I purchase this cabinet on a Wednesday and use a Mastercard, I can get additional 5% discount on top of the already discounted price! So the total I need to pay is RM321.23 and my total savings is RM477.77! :D

I need to highlight something, I really like how Rakuten provides all the information about the products they are selling. Detailed information and good photos too. Well done!

I hate it when I go to a website and there is no product information or very little information. How can customers be convinced to buy the products if there is no proper information, right? *ranting*

Another way you can find better deals is to search for Special Highlighted Events. In this section, you can find great on-going deals and ave up even more on your desired products.

Like this one, the Thank You Sale where everything is RM39 and below! So worth it! :D

That Faber Castell pens is only RM9!! Oh gosh I think I really need to get that for my new planner! :D

Next hack is to be alert with Flash Sale like this one that I found!

You gotta be alert to get the flash sale because usually flash sale/coupons will only last for a day or even for a couple of hours only! :D

Lastly another hack that I found for you guys is to search for the Grand Opening Sale tab. This is where great deals is available for all new merchants in Rakuten.

One look at the new Lancome Spring 2016 Collection, I couldn't agree more that it is the essence of pastels. I would describe the collection as girlish yet sophisticated, soft, feminine and demure. Such a beautiful collection that will mesmerize anyone who sets eyes on it. There are 3 main products in this collection, My Parisian Pastels, My Parisian Blush (LE) and Poetically Pretty Eyes Hypnose Palette (LE).

My Parisian Pastels

This 9 cubes of pastels goodness is a an overall palette. You can use it for your eyes, your whole face as powder, cheeks as highlighters and contouring. Yes you heard me right, contouring. I thought the brown shade is too shimmery but it blended so well and it really does work as contouring and bronzing. The 9 iridescent pastel cubes totally caught me by surprise, I would never thought to love pastel shades so much, but this one is a must have for the spring season! The 9 shades is divided into 3 corrective shades, 3 blush tones and 3 illuminating pastels. And the packaging, gosh don't even get me started. The tin packaging that looks like a box of crayon is customized by the collection signature illustration.

My Parisian Blush (LE)

The blush is another star of the collection. There are two shades available in this collection, Corail de Ville (fruity orange) and Rose Haussmann (bluish pink). These blushes has play-doh like texture because of the creamy texture. When I pressed the blush, I can feel the smooth texture and how buttery it is. It glides smoothly on the cheeks and it does gives the perfect glow. Totally gorgeous! :) This blush is also perfect for lips and with added gloss in the center of the lips, your lips will shine like a star.

Poetically Pretty Eyes

There's another palette for the Spring 2016 collection, the Hypnose Palette (DO12 Paris Merveilleux). The palette is more towards warm shades which is perfect for spring. With an added one pop of colour in the palette, it will brightens up the whole look. Freshness is the key to that perfect spring look. Instead of a soft look, you can also use this palette to create smoky eyes, for the extra effect. A limited edition palette, so get this before it ran out.

Lobby

All manicure and pedicure service is done by Amante. I had hand paraffin treatment during my visit and it was my first time actually. My hands were massage with hand cream and dipped into warm paraffin wax. Then my hands were wrapped in cling wrap for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the paraffin wax is removed and my hands felt oily and greasy. I massaged both of my hands together and wiped off any excess 'greasiness' and my hands were so soft and smooth! The paraffin wax really helps in deep-conditioning the skin and moisturize hands, nail and cuticle. Watch my video if you want to see the process! :D

After my hand paraffin treatment, foot treatment for 60 minutes is next. But first, my feet need to be soaked and scrubbed to ensure my feet is clean. The we headed to the foot treatment room which resembles a mini theatre room!

Foot Treatment is a good way to improve blood circulation, reduce body's toxin, release stress and boost organ functions! I extremely enjoy the foot massage, it was so relaxing! There's even a movie playing in the room but in mute of course. The room is a unisex room so expect men and women to be in the same room. If you need privacy, maybe you can request for the corner at the last row. :) As for Muslim ladies especially hijabis, please wear a skirt or a dress to make it easier for the masseuse to massage your feet. Don't wear pants because they will only give you shorts and you have to walk from the washroom to the room in that. Uh huh, big NO. :D So just avoid wearing pants okay? ;)

Now it's time for my body massage! I chose Thainess Oil Massage because simply I don't want Thai Traditional Massage. I am very 'lembik' to be honest and I can' take pain very well. *hahaha* I always choose aromatherapy, hot stone or oil massage whenever I booked my massage appointment. Anyway Thainess Oil Massage is designed to relaxed sore muscles, relieve stress and calm the body, mind and soul. It was indeed a very relaxing experience. My body felt so much lighter, as if the weight I had before is lifted up and disappeared. This is one of my best massage experience, definitely. Well, I'm not surprised because I was told that the masseuses here are trained in Thailand and they are certified skilled masseuse! The massage was soooo good! I will come back to this place because of the damn good massage, seriously. This experience totally brings me back to my massage experience in Krabi, Thailand in 2014.

Healthland Wellness Center in Setia Alam is huge! There's a variety of rooms, meaning that you can go there with your friends and do it together! :D
