Getting a day off from my routine is such a
blessing. I thanked my husband for giving me some 'ME TIME' once in a while.
When I was invited to experience the services in Healthland
Wellness Center, I immediately said yes because I really need a
massage for my aching body. Massage is not only good for relieving pain but it
is also relaxing and makes me forget about my stress or problems. I

Healthland Wellness Center has quite
a number of outlets, but the one I visited is at Setia Alam. If you are not

manicure and pedicure service is done by Amante. I had hand paraffin treatment during my visit and it
was my first time actually. My hands were massage with hand cream and dipped
into warm paraffin wax. Then my hands were wrapped in cling wrap for about 10
minutes. After 10 minutes, the paraffin wax is removed and my hands felt oily
and greasy. I massaged both of my hands together and wiped off any excess
'greasiness' and my hands were so soft and smooth! The paraffin wax really
helps in deep-conditioning the skin and moisturize hands, nail and
cuticle. Watch my video if you want to see the process! :D
After my hand paraffin treatment, foot treatment for 60 minutes is next. But
first, my feet need to be soaked and scrubbed to ensure my feet is clean. The
we headed to the foot treatment room which resembles a mini theatre room!
Foot Treatment is a good way to improve blood
circulation, reduce body's toxin, release stress and boost organ functions! I
extremely enjoy the foot massage, it was so relaxing! There's even a movie
playing in the room but in mute of course. The room is a unisex room so expect
men and women to be in the same room. If you need privacy, maybe you can
request for the corner at the last row. :) As for Muslim ladies especially
hijabis, please wear a skirt or a dress to make it easier for the
masseuse to massage your feet. Don't wear pants because they will only give you
shorts and you have to walk from the washroom to the room in that. Uh huh, big
NO. :D So just avoid wearing pants okay? ;)
Now it's time for my body massage! I chose Thainess Oil Massage because simply I don't want
Thai Traditional Massage. I am very 'lembik' to be honest and I can'
take pain very well. *hahaha* I always choose aromatherapy,
hot stone or oil massage whenever I booked my massage appointment. Anyway
Thainess Oil Massage is designed to relaxed sore muscles, relieve stress and
calm the body, mind and soul. It was indeed a very relaxing experience. My body
felt so much lighter, as if the weight I had before is lifted up and
disappeared. This is one of my best massage experience, definitely. Well, I'm
not surprised because I was told that the masseuses here are trained in
Thailand and they are certified skilled masseuse! The massage was soooo good! I
will come back to this place because of the damn good massage, seriously. This
experience totally brings me back to my massage experience in Krabi, Thailand
in 2014.

the cafe. The mix and match concept is so pleasing to the eyes. You can
actually buy the display furnitures and paintings here because they are for
sale! There's also a beauty section where you can purchase soaps, body scrubs,
lip balm and such.
