Today we are going to talk about my favourite part of makeup, foundation and concealer. I am a base junkie and I am up to try any kind of foundation and concealer because I think base is one of the basic thing that everyone should pay attention to. Today we are going to take a closer look on Bourjois City Radiance Foundation and Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer. I have been testing out both of these products for about 2 months now, and it is safe to say that I have finally come to a conclusion how I feel about these two. Let's start!
BOURJOIS CITY RADIANCE FOUNDATION

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation is enriched with coated pigments for a long-lasting wear and a radiant finish. It has SPF30 to protect the skin from harmful UV rays and anti-pollution screen that reduces the presence of carbon particles on the skin. The packaging of this foundation reminds me of a BB/CC/DD cream as it comes in a tube packaging but I personally prefer this type of packaging for travelling purpose. The foundation comes in 4 shades and I have 2 shades to show you.
Vanilla is way too fair for me and Light Beige is just about right for my skin. Considering there are only 4 shades in the range, I am not sure how this foundation can cater to all skin colours. The texture is quite thick, but it is creamy as it is easy to blend in. I use a flat kabuki brush or a beauty blender with this foundation and they both do a great job in blending. I would say this foundation is buildable therefore you can get a medium to high coverage. The foundation look cakey and slightly fairer for the first 10 minutes, but slowly the shade oxides and becomes one with my own skin. I love the brightening effect it gives and it makes my skin glows. This foundation does feel a bit heavy and you can actually feel it that you have foundation on your skin. As for the longevity, this foundation wears off pretty good as I've worn it for 5-6 hours and it still looked good. After 6 hours, I noticed there was a slight blotchiness around my lips and nose area but it's not a big deal for me as the overall foundation still look nice. Would I recommend this foundation? Yes, if you love the brightening effect and you love dewy skin finish.

BOURJOIS RADIANCE REVEAL CONCEALER

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer is targeted especially to cover up under the eye imperfections such as dark circles, puffiness and give the under eye a fresh and radiant look. It contains Mont Blanc glacier water and hyaluronic acid to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It also hydrates the eye area up to 24 hours. There are two shades available, #01 and #02. I love the simple packaging and it comes with a doefoot applicator which is my favourite type of applicator for concealer. It makes the application so much easier! But the applicator is quite stiff and just remember to apply the concealer gently under your eye.
Ivory is great for highlighting under the eye while Beige is my skin tone. I always go for lighter shade for my under eye as I want the highlighted look for my under eye so I used Ivory. It is actually a little too fair to my liking but as I was finishing up my makeup, it looks good and I got nothing to complain. The texture is mousse-y like and it is not as creamy as Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer but it's still easy to blend. I prefer using a flat foundation brush as the beauty blender sheer up the coverage. I always use an orange corrector under my eye before applying under eye concealer because my dark circle is horrible but you can always use just concealer for your under eye if your dark circles is minimal. The coverage is low to medium but it is buildable. As you can see from the photo below, the concealer settles into my fine lines but again, all concealer does that. I have yet to find under eye concealer that does not crease at all. For me, this concealer is a great buy from the drugstore as it brightens up under the eye while giving it hydration through the skincare ingredients.
