UNBOXING | Althea x Eva : Effy Skins Inspired Look - ♥ Sabby Prue : Malaysian Beauty & Lifestyle Blogger ♥

Assalamualaikum and hello!

Another unboxing box from my favourite online Korean store, Althea! This time around is a box with makeup products, a collaboration with Korean beauty creator Eva. I actually am not subscribed to any other Korean Youtuber except for Pony Makeup, but when I checked out Eva's channel, I instantly hooked on personality and her in-depth tutorial. This box comprises of 8 makeup products and Eva herself created an inspired makeup look for the character Effy from the series Skins.

Okay, so I never watched Skins before so when I googled about the character, I can say that her makeup is more towards dark smokey eyes with nudes lips. So I created an easy look for all of you so you can try it out yourself. Before we proceed to the tutorial, lets do the unboxing of the Althea pink box first!

Here are all the goodies inside the box. Just looking at these products, you know this calls for a smokey eyes look! Lets take a closer look!

First up is the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow. OMG! I thought they don't have this anymore!! I remembered going to every Etude House outlet a few years back asking for this eyebrow pencil and they said Etude House is discontinuing this product. I was devastated because this was my favourite eyebrow pencil ever! Now it's back on Althea, so yeayyy! I love it that it's easy to use as the texture of the pencil is not too creamy. Easy to shape the eyebrow and the spoolie is a bonus point. Love this!

Innisfree Always New Auto Liner is a pencil eyeliner that is long-lasting. The shade included in the box is #11 Downy Sand Beach which is a nude eyeliner that is suitable to waterline the eyes to make the eyes look bigger and brighter.

Innisfree Powerproof Brush Liner is a liquid eyeliner that has a fine tip, easy to use to create winged eyeliner. I saw Eva's video where she uses this to tight line her eyes and OMG I can never do that. T_T I don't usually tight line my eyes and if I do, I would just use a pencil eye liner. I actually use this for my winged eyeliner but it wasn't as intense as I want to since the shade in the box is brown. So I put on the Tony Moly gel eyeliner on top of it. Brown is a good choice for a natural makeup look so this would be nice for an everyday look.

Tony Moly Backgel Eyeliner in Black is a gel-type eyeliner that is waterproof. I am not really a fan of gel eyeliner because it is too much work but this one is pretty okay. I love the deep black and the applicator glides on smoothly so it makes it easy for me to create my winged eyeliner.

MISSHA single eyeshadow in black is the eyeshadow I used on the entire eyelids. The pigmentation is mediocre but it is easy to blend out. I would suggest to create the eye look first before your base as this eyeshadow has fall outs.

To pair with the black eyeshadow, a warm brown eyeshadow is included in the box. I used this Mono Eyes single eyeshadow in my crease and blend it upwards. I also used for under the eyes. The key of a beautiful smokey eyes is blending. So keep on blending until you are satisfied with the look.

Before putting on lashes, I applied Witch's Pouch Banhana Mascara Sweet Curling to get my desired curled lashes. I like the wand as it has spiky bristles because I know this won't clump my eyelashes. I love this!

Then finally, a little extra for the eyes. I have used this 3CE #16 Pink Rumour Eye Lash before and I love it as it is so easy to use. Since it is not a full false lashes, I don't have to cut the lashes to fit my eyes. It looks very natural and add that little 'umph' to my eyes. The glue that came in the box is pretty good too. It is a clear glue and it holds pretty strongly on my original lashes. If you are afraid to try false lashes because, this is approved by me as I have no problem applying this.
