I was scratching my head on what to wear to an afternoon tea in Mandarin Oriental with The Butterfly Project Malaysia team. I wanted to wear something elegant and I immediately thought of my Raya clothes that I bought this year. Since it is a two-piece dress, I decided to wear the skirt with a white top or the top with a sequin skirt. But I decided to wear the two-piece together at the very last minute.
The Afternoon Tea by Anya Hindmarch at the Lounge On The Park, Mandarin Oriental is a beautiful array of sweets and savoury treats. Inspired by the latest collection by Anya Hindmarch Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection, the food spread showcased the creativity and fun aspect of the iconic British brand. All the treats were lovely but I was busy talking to my friends that I even forgotten to eat as much as I would normally eat. *hahaha* If you are interested to try the Afternoon Tea by Anya Hindmarch, head on to Mandarin Oriental and experience it yourself. I paired my Lubna two-piece dress with my Lady Qomash floral printed shawl, I think they are a perfect match. I love the combination! I bought my Lubna dress from Zalora if you are interested to get it, I think they have it several colours but not sure if they still sell it as it has been 5 months since I purchased it.
I love the flowy sleeve, makes me feel all girly and feminine. I love the overall outfit together with my petite Louis Vuitton Alma BB. I wanted to wear a clutch in the beginning, but I switched to this bag because I wanted to bring my camera. I guess it is a perfect fit! I would wear this combo over and over again. :)
