Gotta share my love for this foundation, The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation! I've been loving most foundations that I've tried recently and I am more than happy to share my thoughts on this foundation. I'm telling you, The Body Shop is killing it with their makeup range! I reviewed their Down To Earth Eye Shadow Palette, take a look if you love neutral shades.
The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation is an everyday foundation that provides natural, fresh and radiant looking skin. It is infused with English rose water and aloe vera which have soothing and hydration properties, therefore this foundation would be perfect for dry and combination skin. There's a floral scent to it which I didn't like at first but as I continue using it, I kinda like it. I don't know how to describe exactly about the finish of the foundation. It is slightly matte and dewy at the same time, and it looks like skin. Do you get it? *hahaha* I looked up online and the website said that is a semi-matte foundation, which could be the right word for it. :D

As I mentioned that this is an everyday foundation, the coverage is more towards light to medium coverage. I used 2 pumps to get a medium coverage and I love how lightweight it feels on my skin! This foundation has SPF 15 to protect you from the sun, but never forget to apply sun protection okay? The texture of the foundation is slightly runny, therefore I highly suggest to use a dense brush such as the Breena Beauty B101 Face Luxe Brush. I tried using it with a beauty blender but I prefer using a foundation brush.

If you have dry skin type, you can get away with setting your makeup with makeup setting spray only. But if you have combination skin type, I suggest to set your T-zone with powder to avoid shiny face. When I first started using it, I noticed my T-zone getting shiny in about 3-4 hours. So I would apply powder to set my face, then spray my makeup setting spray. If you have oily skin, you might want to test it out first to see how it looks after 3 hours.

Natural makeup lover, The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation is a must try because it will give the effect of 'your skin but better' kinda finish. The longevity is good (make sure to set with powder and setting spray) and it feels like you are not wearing anything on your face. The best part that there are 16 shades available nationwide but there 9 shades available in the website/in store (Malaysia). The shades range is amazing, it has from fair to dark and I know it will fit to all Malaysian skin tones. It is retailed at RM119 for 30ml.
