One of the perks of being a beauty blogger is the amazing opportunity given to me to discover new brands and products. The beauty of these discoveries connect me with great brands and of course great products that help to improve my skin condition. I've heard about Dr. Wu, as it is Taiwan's number 1 clinical skincare but I haven't got the chance to try out any of their products. Luckily enough, this Dr. Wu X SaSa beauty workshop helps me to understand more about the brand.
Dr. Wu products is developed based on doctor's prescription using advanced patented technologies to suit all skin types especially those with sensitive skin. These products are made to cater specifically to combat Asian skin's problems. Dr. Wu's products are made without alcohol, paraben, artificial colouring and fragrance which makes it safe to be used for consumers. During the workshop, we were introduced to 3 main products (which I will share more below) but let's take a look at other products they have in store.
5th Generation of HYALUCOMPLEX HYDRATING SYSTEM
One of my favourite skincare range is hydration range because dry skin is my absolute problem. Dr. Wu's 5th Generation Hyalucomplex Hydrating System is designed for dry and dehydrated skin. This range helps in locking in moisture to hydrate, rejuvenate and energize the skin for a softer and smoother skin. During the workshop, the beauty consultant did a test on one of the blogger to test out the level of hydration, and her moisture level went up from 93% to 100% after the application of the serum, amazing!
I love the consistency of the serum as it is lightweight and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I do feel an instant hydration upon application and love how it feels on my skin. There are 2 types of the serum ; Intensive Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Intensive Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid (Light). You can choose either one that suits your skin condition.
MANDELIC RENEWAL SYSTEM
Mandelic Renewal System is a daily gentle renewal and skincare to treat dull skin, acne and whiteheads prone skin and coarse skin. The technology used is called "MA3PEEL Renewal Technology" which activates the 5-segment cell regeneration cycle :

By using products from this range daily, dull skin will transform into brighter, flawless-looking and radiant skin due to the main ingredient, Mandelic Acid. Mandelic Acid is a mild and multi-functional alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) which is extracted from bitter almond. The benefits of Mandelic Acid includes :
Regulates skin metabolism by removing dead skin cells Improve skin dullness by reducing dark spots and freckles Tightens pores Reducing sebum secretion to prevent and treat acne problems. 
There are 2 types of Serum from this range ; Daily Renewal Serum with Mandelic Acid and Intensive Renewal Serum with 18% of Mandelic Acid. If you have dry and sensitive skin, go for the first version (Daily Renewal Serum with Mandelic Acid). For neutral and oily skin, choose the Intensive Renewal Serum with 18% of Mandelic Acid.
DD CUSHION
Dr. Wu DD Cushion is the mix of blemish balm cream and colour control cream to give natural, brighter and flawless looking skin. It comes in a round compact foundation which is convenient and easy to use. Not to mentioned, the perfect lil' compact to bring wherever. Dr. Wu DD Cushion with SPF50+/PA++ consists over 17 plant extracts to provide high level of benefits towards the skin. With it's innovative AirPack air cushion technology, the 'million pore X smart 3 layer sponge puff applicator' gives a natural finish to the skin. Hexagonal Accurate Match Powder is used to prevent clogged pores, control oiliness, conceals blemishes and provide long-lasting staying power.

Of all the 3 variants, I prefer the Perfect Cover compact as it provides more coverage than the rest and the shade matches me perfectly. I love the applicator as it picks up the right amount of product and the sponge feels gentle on my skin. Love the velvetty matte finish too!
