'me time' moment that I can have at a comfort in my own home is my weekly DIY
facial that consists of exfoliating with my cleansing brush, my favorite face
scrub and my multiple variants of face masks. But what do I do if I need to
have an instant glowing and hydrated skin? A skin that has the perfect canvas
for my makeup application? The answer is my dear, face sheet masks! I am a
lover of sheet masks and you can come to my home and raid my face masks section
and you will see what a hoarder I am!
My Beauty
Diary is a well-known sheet mask brand and I've used before. A popular
brand especially in Asia countries, I personally loved the sheet masks because it
fits my face way better than any brand. I have a pretty small face and
sometimes putting on face mask that’s way too big is uncomfortable. The brand
also does not use harmful chemicals such as paraben preservatives, alcohol,
mineral oil, pigments and fluorescents agents. For this blogpost, I tested out
3 variants of sheet masks, which are Duo
Brightening Moisture Power Brightening Black Pearl EX+ Mask, Duo Brightening
Repair Power Brightening Black Pearl EX+ Mask and Black Pearl Brightening Mask.

Duo Brightening Moisture Power Brightening Black Pearl EX+ Mask is an intense hydrating and brightening sheet mask that
consists of blue-green algae which is highly rich in 8 types
of amino acids, vitamins and essential fatty acids. The Blue-green algae is
combined with Codium tomentosum extract and Euchema algae to provide extreme
moisture into skin. Due to intense hydration properties, these ingredients also
help to reduce fine lines appearance and also helps to combat premature aging.
Other ingredients include aloe vera, sugar maple and sugar cane that locks in
moisture to maintain skin's suppleness. The main ingredient for brightening
purpose, the Tahitian black pearl extract is rich in vitamins,
minerals and amino acids. Together with other ingredients such as arbutin,
dipotassium glycyrrhiziate and lemon extract, one can have a brighter and
lively skin. Say goodbye to dull skin, and hello to glowing skin!.
As you can see here the sheet mask's fabric is ultimately thin and
it is indeed breathable and comfortable on my skin. It does not slip and slide
on my face and it sits nicely on my skin. This face mask is drenched with the
duo-functioning serum to give the ultimate double benefits. I love how
refreshing my skin feels during application time and of course, my skin feels hydrated,
soft and supple after taking off the sheet mask. I love that this sheet mask
has double benefits as it cuts down my time using two face masks if I need to

Duo Brightening Repair Power Brightening Black Pearl EX+
Mask is to be used if you want
to heal your skin inside out and have that brightening effect at the same time.
Enriched with Macrocystis Pyrifera, the world's largest algae species, is the
key to healthy skin as it helps to repair damaged skin. Adding in Fucus
Serratus Extract and hydrolyzed yeast as power ingredients, these combination
works together to strengthens skin barrier and penetrate moisture into skin. As
to soothe irritated skin, the existence of aloe vera, Arnica Montana and
Glycyrrhiza will help to ease up this problem. Tahitian Black Pearl extracts is
the key ingredient in this sheet mask for the brightening effect as it contains
amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Together with other ingredients such as
Arbutin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhiziate and lemon extract, skin will be brightened
up with a consistent use.
The fabric of this sheet mask is the same as the previous one and
it is comfortable and breathable on my skin. The sheet mask is packed on with
duo-serum that absorbs deeply into my skin and leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized
and it does give an instant glow upon removing the sheet mask. My skin feels
pampered and the soothing properties really help to calm my skin redness. I
would suggest this face mask for those who just got back from a beach holiday
and wants to repair damaged skin due to sun damage. Even out skin tone and
bring back the glow while soothing the skin seems like a pretty good idea,

My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Brightening Mask is a deep moisture and brightening face mask that uses
Tahitian Black Pearl extracts which is highly rich in vitamins, minerals and
amino acids. In addition to the Tahitian Black Pearl extracts, this sheet
masks contains hydrolyzed collagen and lemon extract results in even skin tone,
brighter and youthful look. My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Mask has hydrating
properties through the existence of red algae and Arnica extracts which these
ingredients aids in installing hydration back into the skin. And also, with the
help of other ingredients such as sugar maple extract and sugar cane extracts,

I love how much serum they put in every sachet because I kid you
not that the serum was dripping! They are very generous in that sense and you
can use that essence to massage it on your body part too! The serum in all of

the sheet mask on my face for 15-20 minutes and after removing the sheet mask,
I'll keep on massaging the excess serum into the skin to ensure my skin is
getting the maximum benefits. It feels good to pamper my skin every 2 or 3 days
