Hey everyone. It's my first ever blog post for this year and honestly I can't believe January is about to end in about 10 days. How crazy is that? January has been treating me really good and I am actually excited for what's coming next month. I don't always set my self with 'new' goals every year because let's face it, I never really get them done. *lol* But as for this year, I have a few things that I want to focus on and one of it includes improving my well-being by taking extra care of my health, be more diligent with my skincare routine, spend more time to improve and strengthen my faith. I know I am pretty good with my skincare but I need to step it up and try more anti-aging products because I'm not getting any younger!
THE FACE SHOP Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating skincare range is targeted for women in 30s as it suits best for those with dry and mature skin types to better skin's elasticity. This is actually an upgraded version as the formulation has been improved with new ingredients, as well as the texture of the products is now more silky-smooth, lighter and less sticky and greasy on the skin. Most anti-aging skincare products are heavier and richer in texture but I am happy to let you know that this luxurious skincare line is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. The ingredients chosen are carefully-selected from "Medicinal Herb Island" which is located in Southern Korea where the herbs were once sent to the Royal Court as tribute to the Emperor.
The main 2 ingredients in this range are Heaven Grade Ginseng which is amazing for anti-aging properties and Natural Pine Mushroom which are now 2 times more in the range! So what's new in Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating line? 3 ingredients including :

High in nourishing properties, improves blood circulation, powerful anti-wrinkles properties and protects the skin from harmful UV rays.
✨CANOLA
Rich in anti-oxidant as it is well-known for it's vitality and the ability to survive cold harsh weather
✨GOLD DUST
As known, gold is an eternal, immortal jewel that won't decay and gold dust is widely used in skincare to prevent ageing, body protection and skin radiance.
Other ingredients include Safflower Seed Oil which aids in softening and regenerate damaged skin ; Lotus Seed Extract to soothe and replenish energy. I received 4 products from this range and I started using them on 1st January, let's take a look my thoughts on them.
Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Toner

Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Toner is to be used after cleansing as to prep the skin before serum, balance out skin pH level and to remove excess impurities, if any. The texture is quite thick, compare to any typical toner but surprisingly it is lightweight and easily absorbed into the skin. It does leave a refreshing feel on the skin and somewhat a cooling effect. This oil-based toner creates a protective layer to lock in moisture for a smoother and soft skin.
Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Serum

You can use the essence after using the toner, but if you skip that step, go ahead and put on the serum. on your skin. This serum is thick in texture and I use about one and a half pump to cover my face and neck. Usually with most anti-aging serum, I use one pump only as they tend to be greasy and sticky but this is not the case with this serum. It glides smoothly on my skin and it absorbs effortlessly, leaving my skin soft and radiant, ready for the next product application.
Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Eye Cream

How huge is this jar of eye cream goodness? This will last you forever! This low-irritant eye cream formulation is created to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and lock in moisture into the eye area. The texture of this eye cream is balmy, therefore what I like to do first is to rub the cream between my finger then I would start dabbing from outer to inner corner of my eyes. Gently patting as the eye area is very delicate.
Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Emulsion

Emulsion is a great product to be used during the day as the consistency of the product is way more lightweight and airy that the typical day cream. I love this texture because it absorbs effortlessly and quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy residue and my skin becomes instantly extra 100% moisturized! The reason for this is, it contains 5% of oil formula that delivers intense hydration and nourishment into the deepest layer of skin. Love the texture of this emulsion and I highly suggest this product if you are looking for a lightweight day moisturizer.
Honestly speaking, majority skincare products containing ginseng that I've tried before made my skin red and itchy but this Yehwadam Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Line does not make my skin itchy and red, which is obviously a good sign. I love that THE FACE SHOP categorized their Yehwadam range so that their customers can identify which line is suitable for them. For 3 weeks of usage, my skin feels soft and smooth, less greasy during the day and somehow I feel comfortable enough to go out without makeup at times. This Heaven Grade Ginseng Rejuvenating Line is definitely suitable for my skin as I'm already in my 30s, so I am hoping that this range will help me to achieve my everlasting youth. *haha* One thing to take note that this range has a natural fresh herbal scent to all the products, so it might not be anyone's cup of tea. I actually preferred non-scented skincare products but I can get pass the scent because I'm enjoying these products.
