What is your definition of healthy and beautiful skin? For
me, healthy and beautiful skin is a well-hydrated, soft and smooth skin with
glowing effect. Is that too much to ask? Of course not! With the right skin
care products and good eating habits, trust me you'll get there. As for good
eating habits, it's always great to include vegetables and fruits in your daily
food intake and drink at least 2 litres of water daily. Drinking water is the
key to have good skin as it flushes out toxin from your body. Do you know that
when you are thirsty you are already dehydrated? So make sure to drink a glass
of water every 2 hours so you don't feel thirsty. Now we cover the inside
'secrets' for a healthy skin, but what can we do to improve our skin condition
from the outside? Simply use skincare products such as Cetaphil Gentle Skin
Cleanser!
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is indeed one the most well-known cleanser especially for
those with sensitive skin. I used to have really sensitive skin growing up and
I suffered with acne and blemishes, redness, gosh the list is never ending. I
remember going to a dermatologist and I was given Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
as a part of my skincare routine. With sensitive skin, it's important to check
the ingredients in skincare products so that harmful ingredients can be
avoided. One of the most important fact that you need to remember when dealing
with sensitive skin is the product needs to be fragrance-free and soap-free.
Products with fragrance will only irritate and cause problems to the skin. Products
with soap dries out the skin and strips away the skin’s natural moisture. Cetaphil
Gentle Skin Cleanser is the right cleanser for sensitive skin as it is
fragrance-free, soap-free and lanolin-free. The cleanser is non-comedogenic and
pH-balanced hence it is clinically proven to be non-irritating. Survey from the
Home Testers Club Malaysia that was conducted last year suggests 99% of women
agreed that Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser gently cleans and moisturizes without
stripping skin's natural oils. Even though this cleanser is targeted for
sensitive skin, it is suitable for all skin types!
The texture of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is watery-gel like
texture that is lightweight to the touch. Apply an appropriate amount on the
palm of the hand and rub gently all over the face. The cleanser does not give
out much foam because it is soap-free so you can basically just wipe it off
with a soft cloth if you don't want to rinse with water. But I personally
prefer rinsing it off with water because it feels more comfortable.
I used to have really sensitive skin but my skin is doing much
better now. I do have occasional moments when my skin feels slightly sensitive
and dry and that’s when Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser comes into my skincare
routine. It is gentle to be used during my sensitive and dry skin days without
stripping my natural skin's barrier. Even though this cleanser is mild and
gentle, I do feel that my skin is clean from impurities and it moisturizes my
skin at the same time. Do you know that you can use Cetaphil Gentle Skin
Cleanser on your body as well? Yes! This cleanser is also recommended by
dermatologist because it’s suitable those with dry, itchy, or sensitive skin as
it is clinically proven to not irritate your skin further but restore your
skin’s moisture. It is also gentle enough to be used on babies because of the
formulation. The cleanser won't sting your babies' eyes, so don't worry about
that! Cleansing is one of the most important steps in skincare routine and
choosing the right cleanser is crucial. Some cleanser will strip your skin
squeaky clean but is it really good for your skin? Try out a gentler
formulation such as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and feel the difference
as it did mine when I was a teenager and now as a mother. :)
