Hello mommies!
Gosh, it has been a really long time since I write anything on this blog. I have been so occupied with taking care of my sick children (cough and cold are truly exhausting), then I gotten myself a bit of exhaustion 'fever' with cough, flu and sore throat. To be honest with you, I am still sick but hey, I just have to share with all of you my current favourite feeding utensils for Eidruce. You guys, Eidruce is turning ONE this month, how crazy is that? Well now Eidruce is 11 months old, and I have been teaching him to self-feed by giving him tiny bit snacks so that he can learn to grab with his fingers. I think I started giving him snack when he was 8 or 9 months old. I do also let him self-feed his porridge but I'm, telling you, it is so messy that I would only do that when I don't have so much to do that day. You also have to know that you need good feeding utensils to help your kids in their self-feeding journey.
OXO TOT is a well-known brand and they have a varieties of products in self-feeding and I am grateful to have these utensils for Eidruce. There are 4 products which I'm going to review in this post, they are :

First up is this Stick & Stay Plate which helps so much as it sticks to the surface, thanks to the secure suction base feature that sticks firmly to surfaces. No matter how Eidruce tried to pull it up, it didn't lift up but still it is easier for me to remove it. The plate doesn't slip or tip over and it stays in one place which makes me so happy that I don't have to deal with any flying plates. As you can see in the photos, the side walls of the plate is designed to help our child learn how to scoop food easily using fork and spoon. OXO TOT Fork & Spoon Set in Dark Blue
Fork and spoon is a definite utensils to give your children to eat with. This is actually suitable for 12 months old and above as I think at that age, babies have more control of their movement. I did try to give the spoon to Eidruce but he just keep on sucking on it. lol. But as a mother, I do appreciate that the fork are not sharp and it can pick up food easily. And love the deep spoon shape as it makes it easier to scoop out food. The curved handles have non-slip feature that helps little hands to hold it comfortably.

OXO TOT Flippy Snack Cup with Travel Cover in Dark Blue
Snack time is super important, especially we are out and about! OXO Tot Flippy Snack Cup has flexible and soft opening that makes it easy to kids access their food. And also keeping the food inside without spilling out. It also include a snap-on cover which keeps food fresh! Loving the non-slip handle as it makes it easy for Eidruce to hold it while eating. It takes a little time for Eidruce to use it, but eventually he's able to do it.

I don't really give sippy cups to Eidruce because he just wasn't interested. I usually feed him water with just using a cup and he seems to be liking it more. But of course I want him to learn to use a straw cup and I really recommend this OXO Tot Grow Straw Cup because it has spill-proof straw fits nicely in babies mouth and reduce spillage. And I also appreciate that this straw cup is leakproof! I hate it when I keep the kiddos bottles in my bags and they spill, super annoyed! The cap and straw are removable too which makes through cleaning easy.
