Eidruce Goes To Kindergarten Pulakkkk

Oh this is my second post this year. Konon nak update blog ni selalu, last2 satu blog post je last month. Well, life happens. I actually was in the middle of 2 blogposts, about one of my staycation and Eidruce's first day of school. But I haven't gotten the time to finish it up. So I rasa baik I recap je all that happened in January so that tak bertangguh lagi.


Eidruce start kindergarten dia on 3rd March. He is now going to Smart Reader Kids, sama dengan Marissa dulu. The reasons why I send my kid here again? Simply sebab I suka teachers dia dekat sini, tanya apa pun respon cepat. Very attentive. Masa Marissa dulu, by end of her last year, dia dah bole baca (taklah laju sangat, tapi dah bole baca). Basic maths pun okay, and arts & crafts dia mmg improve banyak. Alhamdulillah bila dah masuk darjah 1, dia senang pickup.

Tahun 2020, the registration fee was RM1929 (includes fee for January and December) and monthly was RM330. Tahun 2023, registration fee dah jadi RM2266 with RM380 monthly. Take note that this is for half day (7.30 - 12 noon). Actually class starts at 8.45am tapi bole je hantar at 7.30am sbb some parents hantar the kids and terus pergi office. I hantar je between 8.30 am - 9am sbb dugaan juga nak kejut Edush bangun tdo huhu.

Kalau nak baca blogpost yang I buat untuk Marissa dulu about Smart Reader, bolehla baca kat SINI. 


My opah passed away on 20th January (Friday). Innalillah. Sedekahkan al-fatihah untuk my arwah opah, Sapiah Binti Uda Bugis sekiranya berkesempatan please. :') On Friday petang tu kitorang visited opah kat HKL, we were there when she passed, around 7.30-7.40pm mcm tu. We lost our head of family, she was 97 yo. Balik kampung haritu dapat jumpa all my cousins, and our kids semua dapat main sama2. Semua memori balik kampung teringat2 dalam kepala. Masih boleh ingat arwah atok tengah keringkan asam keping kat laman, opah tengah masak kat dapur. All the beraya trips, pegi rumah2 sekeliling rumah opah sbb nak collect duit raya. Kait rambutan, jambu air, macam2 lagila aktiviti kitorang balik kampung. Lebih2 lagi air sejuk dalam kolah, fuhh kalau mandi tu mmg bole terus segar.  Those are the moments yang I cherished sangat, I syukur dapat rasa balik kampung, syukur dapat kenal dan sayang opah dan atok.

Setelah banyak customers request I buat cream puff, I finally made my first batch. I nailed the taste of the choux pastry and also my chantilly cream, but I need to work on my piping skill and also adjust the baking time. This will be included in Little Bakerina menu. I baked Rainbow Cupcakes too, I update my vanilla cupcakes recipe, and this is so much better! And yes, I akan masukkan dalam list menu jugak, tapi no custom ya. Setakat add nama gini boleh la.
